    Cant belive Irfan Khan a great n senior actor didnt get best actor award n a clawn like ranbir kapoor gets it. This movie is so good n yet not nominated for oscars. Movies like Jab thak hai jan, dabangg 2, rowdy rthore n bol bachan etc cross 100 crore but this movie doesnt even go near it. This movie deserved more awards n appreciation.

    its so sad that talented actors like irrfan mia…gets wasted in bwood..or get fame or noticed a lot later…talking bout the general audience…hardly anyone wud have saw one of the greatest scene in bwud which babilatam is talking bout…from the movie haasil…but here in bwood..stars(not actors) like salman n all gets award for “chedi singh hum tumme itne ched karenge k conphusa jaoge k saas le kaha se aur pade kaha se” damn bwood..

    @theimpeccable
    I am Tomar from Morena distt and honestly apart from few actors , most of them actually had the right dialect of the region. Of course they can’t be as authentic as the native speakers but they did pull it off well.
    Also having it in pure ‘Bundeli’ would have made it difficult for larger audience to understand it. Btw who told you this is a ‘Art house’ cinema , Can only SRK / Salman starrer be called as commercial cinema or what ??

    Great movie. What Oscar. Oscar knows nothing about India and its beautiful culture. The ignorant American controlled Oscars will nominate any Indian movie which has jhuppad patti scenes in 80-90% of the movie. F**k Oscar and the pseudo Indian movie Slumdog Millionaire.

    Tigmanshu Dhulia, Anurag Kashyap, Vishal Bharadwaj and Prakash Jha are the saving grace of new age cinema. Something meaningful after a long time. Please save us from Z grade movie makers like Sajid Khan, Farah Khan, KJo and others and their over rated star casts.
