Aye Mere Watan Ke Logon

Indian Patriotic Song, composed by C. Ramchandra and lyrics by Pradeep.

When in 1962 Lata Mangeshkar sang this patriotic song, it moved Pundit Jawarlal Nehru, the Indian Prime Minister, to tears.

salute to the Indian ARMY.There are many indians who always hate the
occupation. But they never know we are alive and can leave in peace just
because of them.Jai hind,ARMY and NDA above all.

Today everyone has forgot the sacrifice of Brave who brought us
independence and still fighting on borders in worse conditions to save us,
let us sleep in peace. These politicians are self centred and greedy for
money, and they must be sent to border to join forces at least 2 months a
year on mandatory basis, so they can understand the cost of freedom.

Every one in today’s nation seems to running blindly after getting more and
more money, No one is bothered about the common man living in heart of
India, provide them roads, electricity, potable water, infrastructure and
jobs instead of giving them money and treating them as beggars. We even
after almost 65 years of freedom are moving backwards, and progress is
still measured by progress in metros, The actual progress would be achieved
only when a villager will have electricity, water and a job to ear money
    respectably.

*Aye Mere Watan Ke Logo* ( “O! the people of my country!” )

*Singer: Lata Mangeshkar* ( “The Nightingale of India” )

The song that drove the people of India, including Prime Minister
    Jawaharlal Nehru, to tears.

It was just after the India-China war in 1962.

(She starts singing at around 1:58 )

Love this song. Sad lyrics + Beautiful Voice 🙁

It’s from what’s known as the “Golden Age of Bollywood”.

A far cry from what most of the film industry’s become today.
[ Cliched Punjabi group dance sequences + Cliched Boy-falls-for-girl story ]
    🙁

@vishalshalu100 Agree! I have more blood relatives in India than Pakistan!!
I served in the United States Army and studied Chinees invasion of India
and saw some war footage. I cried my eyes out watching the brave Indian
Warriors who gave their lives fighting an overwhelming force , some of them
looked like my relatives. I had heard this song when I ws growing up in
Pakistan and loved it. I do remember this song was not seen as
“anti-Pakistan” then. These walls will come down one day!
